Hello SF,
I purchased this Zegna tuxedo from Neiman's the other day on deep discount. I took it to the tailor today and I hadn't noticed that the sleeves were already finished with a 1 button closure that's only visible inside the sleeve, as there's no buttons on the outside of the sleeve.
Questions:
- What is this button type called? I've never seen it or heard of it before.
- Why in the world would Zegna finish these ******* sleeves?!?!?
The tailor I took it to said there's no way to fix it (even taking it up at the shoulders isn't sufficient because the angle of the sleeve cut is terrible and also needs adjusting as it's too angled). I also took it to Neiman's and the tailor there said no way he's touching it either... So I returned it.
I'm pissed cause the tux fit very well and I really like the brown/black look of it, but I'm being told there's nothing anyone is willing to do with the sleeves for fear of ruining it. Any thoughts?
Thanks for the feedback.
