It looks nice...

but

A raincoat is to protect you from RAIN, you know this is when water falls from the sky all over you...

when that fenomena arrives I prefer to have a double breasted, long ,water resistant and repellent fabric.

Gun flap. For recoil from rifle butt in trenches.

I thought it was to cover the top of the flap when it's buttoned all the way up, to prevent water getting down in there. Women's coats have it on the other side.

Label King's coat is very hip but I am a little more of a traditionalist here. I like Iamatt's coat. Mr. Corvato made some a while back with set in sleeves as samples. He offered one to me at a bargain price. I must've been smoking the portnovian pipe of proverb to pass that up. Here is where I actually do like a little retro, like the coat Bogey wore in Casablanca. Who made that coat?

Hmm, they aren't widely made anymore, are they? Seems like everyone has gone to the SB, fly front rain coat. There is a certain anxiety which goes with that belt on the DB model that I would imagine most are happy to do away with.

No, Aquascrotem is not artisan fan enough for me. Rubinacci sells them RTW in his ships. Don't know where he has them made. Somewhere in Italy I believe. It is the best copy of the old ones that I have seen lately.
