As Wes Bourne kindly shared with us in this thread, Alfred Sargent has a new handgrade offering that it is calling The Keats:

For some reason, it looks surprisingly familiar. :icon_smile_big:

This just happens to be a full brogue Adelaide that I had Tony Gaziano make up for me a few years back...with a heart/lyre-shaped throat to reflect the shape of the toe cap and a medallion that I though maintained the flow of the lines. I take it I'm not the only one who favors this look.

Patent infringement?
Copyright violation?
Second career possibility?
All of the above?

Groover actually posted those pics of the new Keats. At around the same time, you had (re)posted pics of your G&G in a Cleverley thread, so I just put 1 + 1 together. I told AS there'd be consequences if I didn't receive hush money and 5 pairs of their new HG...

Terrific shoes. Both Andrew Sargent and Chay Cooper (the director of operations at AS) will be featured at our Chicago get-together on October 15th to discuss both their handgrades and their new Premier Exclusives line.

Have AS rename the style "The Medwards". - That's the least they can do!

I will likely have Clifford Roberts bespeak a side gussetted faux adelaide lazyman (with faux laces of course). I might give up the brogueing on the topline yet keep the design on the heel counter

I will call it: the Medwards Lazyman

I plan on naming an incoming Hungarian shoe the "bengal-stripe."

I hope that it's okay that it's a derby.
