Old debate but I think most folks on the street these days look at wingtips as being more formal than plain toes.

Wanting to get grommets placed on a pair of shell boots with blind eyelets. Is this something any reputable cobbler can do? There are a few here in Salt Lake that have been around for 20 or so years. My only hesitation is them being shell and me living in a small to medium sized city...

How is the sizing of the marlow as compared to the Alden Barrie last? If I wear an 8 in the Barrie and 8.5 in EG ( 606, 888) what size should I get in C&j, specifically marlow or plain toe shoe

My own experience was the Marlow Wingtip fits similarly to the Alden Barrie.
