The Private White V.C. appreciation thread

I think I saw Simon indicate on some comment reply in the website that the price difference was because some official charge (sorry i can't remember what) was baked in to the private white as shown before checkout that would get baked in to the ps price after checkout and that they should come out the same. I have not even tried to fact check it, seems like it should be easy to though.

Mind if I ask where you are at on jacket size and where you ended up on ps coat sizing?

Of course jacket sizing depends on the jacket but generally 40US. For the PS coat a 3 worked for me as it has a bit of room. Good luck!

I have several jackets from Private White and I like them very much. I especially like the Moleskin Bomber and the Ventile Harrington. I just received the Suede Panel Overshirt. I live in Arkansas and their DHL order system could not be easier. I order a size 6 (XL) and a size 7 (XXL) of everything, and usually return the 6 via DHL. With the Suede Panel Overshirt, I kept the 6 and returned the 7. They will let you print and sign a Prepaid DHL form, and they will deduct $25 or so from the return credit to cover the cost of return shipping. They deliver the original shipment to my office and I drop off the return at the local DHL. Except for the 15 minute airport trip, this is as easy as a return to Amazon via UPS or Whole Foods.

The Private White quality is first rate. Sizing is equivalent to Zegna or 100 Hands. I do not believe they have any retail distribution in the US, and it is all customer direct. Everything I have bought has been 60+ % off. Check out Private White VC. You won't be sorry.
