1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Can't argue with that. I do like Ringo though. Some of the best Beatles songs were sung by him.

George and Ringo are my favorite Beatles.

George just seemed cool. If you judge the man by his publicly known friends, he's definitely the coolest Beatle.

Tom Petty, Eric Clapton, Eric Idle and others.

I'm still shocked it took nine whole years for somebody to finally shoot John for writing "Imagine."

Agreed, and I think he has awesome solo work too, I always feel like his stuff is overlooked...

Absolutely, yes. And I include, without irony, "Got My Mind Set On You" on a list of awesome solo work.

I don't know if they were friends since George was fucking Eric's wife at the time.

Shamefully I'm not sure I've ever heard a Beatles song.

You're not serious are you? You've probably heard at least 15 solely by virtue of being alive.

That's quite literally impossible. People in remote parts of fucking Africa have heard the Beatles. It isn't possible to be alive on earth in the last 40 years without having heard a Beatles song.

If you are referring to Patti Boyd, you have things reversed. She was first married to George, then Clapton.
