Do it. Cats are awesome.

By the way, I am not giving you legal advice and I am not familiar with the laws of your jurisdiction, and by making this post, we are not forming an attorney-client relationship.

One of our cats (and one of our dogs) were found, taking them in has been a great experience.

Take him in if you think he's got no home. But don't turn him into a lifeless, uninteresting "indoor" cat - unless he turns out to be into that sort of thing.

I think he should be called Zorro.

My advice, if you are keeping the cat, is once you've had it vet checked try to keep it indoors for a week or two before letting it out again. That should be enough time for it to figure out that you are the food supplier.

Nothing wrong with Roger as a name for a girl cat. My cat is female and called Oscar.

Very handsome cat. I would say keep him/her.

And a reminder to all who posted: Please vote.

BTW, what happened to Gatsby? And Racing Cat?

Echo take it to a vet. Get it "fixed." Do not declaw though!

7 years ago I opened the front door and there was a kitten sleeping right outside the door.

And 7 years later here is Squeaky:

It's certainly true that they grow on you.

Gatsby lives with my parents, and Gatto Corse was a pic I found on some moto website.
