I finally got some custom suits - they look good while on, and were about 650 each. I am a slim guy, 5-7, 154 or so, in good shape.

I put them on and the shoulder pads are the thinnest they make, but there is padding on both side chest areas - is this normal?? My only other suits are warm weather theory sample sale suits, so I've never seen this before. i mean it kinda feels pillowy.

advise please

Most suits have some form of 'structure' in the chest, the amount can vary a lot. I wouldn't normally describe it as 'padding' though, it could be a bit strange to have actual 'padding' in the chest.

it feels like there are tissues or toilet paper inside the suit, below the chest pocket to the lower pocket, and from the front seam to the side seam
