okay guys

ive seen a lot of great pictures on the internet with suits and now that i have a few weddings coming up, i can see that having 1 good suit would be beneficial.

I also am going to Thailand and figured i should get my suit there as i can get it tailored

what is your take on getting tailored suits in thailand (patong as i will be there the longest - 8 days)

from what i saw on the internet people are saying to make sure to know exactly what you want and be as specific as possible

thats where i need help,
as i am new to this world, i dont know what knowledge im not even aware of

is there any place i can learn this from

thanks guys

I know a lot of people who have gotten their first suit when traveling in Asia. Frankly, none of them worked out.

Your better bet for a first suit would be to go to a typical brick and mortar store where someone knows something about fit and pick one out there and have it tailored in house. As you learn more about what does and does not work with your body, you can branch out into the custom world.

I did win fashions at the field in a thai made suit, albeit against very weak opposition. The suits aren't terrible but they aren't great either.
