Here's how I imagine a conversation between Lucas and Natalie Portman going, based on the subdued-disappointed reaction to the process in some of her interviews: Lucas--Ok, in this scene, imagine there's a beautiful mountain in the distance, located right around here on this big green tarp. Portman--But, Mr. Lucas, there's a mountain right outside. Let's go film it there. L(grandoisely(sp?))-- But that's not acting. You have to act like there's a mountain behind you. Now, act.
