Guidi 991 tall lace up boots in soft black horse leather
tag size 44 (Guidi sizing can be tricky so please do your homework)

The boots are in excellent condition, rarely worn. The soles and heels show very little wear - the original grey/black 'paint' hasn't even been worn off the bottom of the sole. There are expected creases and wrinkles on the forepart of the boot where the foot flexes. There is a very slight scrape on the toe of one boot and a small ding in the shape of a line on the heel of the other. Both are pictured and no big deal, just mentioning everything. These boots are the harder toe version; so they have a slightly structured toe. The boots have no issues at all; every blind eyelet is strong and every stitch is straight and tight.

The leather is incredible. I've owned boots from almost everyone and the leather on these is among the finest boot leather I've encountered. It's thick but soft and, as can be seen from the photos, the handcut leather panels feature tons of appealing grain and character. They still have the subtle Guidi leather stink - these rank among the finest artisinal boots I've handled.

These boots are hard to find in this size. I had a difficult time finding a 44 and as far as I know the boots, at least in this if not all sizes, are sold out everywhere.

Measurements along bottom of sole...

length 12 1/4
width 4 1/16

$545.

Hey Todd,

This is Jonathan. It appears you were able to sell your boots.I hope you got what you wanted for them. I decided to set up an account on this site. Thanks for the tip. I wanted to ask you about Guidi in general. When they say order a size up is the typical problem in the width or length? I keep seeing posts where people say they are tight and was thinking that maybe the issue is they run narrow. I still haven't reached a point where I feel confident on whether to 44 or even larger being that I'm a 10-10.5 US and prefer a little extra width. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Jonathan
