I have a pair of black snowpants and a pair of dark gray (slate) snowpants. Other than that, I'm not limited in what I can buy/wear.

What do you guys recommend for looking good while riding good?

Wear a suit. Really I think you should find a totally different forum.

I'm picturing a fully canvassed, three-piece snowboarding outfit, and it's hilarious.

You have to decide if you want steez or want to go the technical route.

If you go for steez, the last few years have been very matchy matchy with crazy patterns.

If you go the technical route (subdued, performance oriented gear) some people will think you look like a dork, but you won't go out of fashion.

I feel like I'm giving the most obvious advice in the world, but thought I should post in this thread since I'm selling ski gear!

It seemed that square (both large and small) patterns were trendy last year on the French slopes. But it doesn't really matter what you wear as long as you are warm and dry. Make sure you get something with gore-tex. And a helmet, wrist guards, and an ass pad are all smart investments.

Snowboarders wear what skateboarders were wearing three years ago. In two years skiers will be wearing what snowboarders are wearing this year.

I suggest keeping things basic so you don't have to feel like you need to change your wardrobe every year... solid coloured jacket, normal mitts/gloves, black or white helmet, good quality goggles.

Or cashmere and Lobbs.
