I am going to a movie premiere and dress code is 'smart casual'. What would you suggest here?? I was thinking of slim fit jeans, ralph lauren polo shirt in a deep blue and boat shoes?

Really not sure! I am in Australia as well so any help appreciated.

I would go with this. It's casual and lets everybody know that you're smart.
