Do they actually tie? As in, can you make the instep tighter or looser based on how tight you tie the string, or is it purely decorative?

I know it's been mentioned before but if I wear Carmina Forest and Inca lasts in UK8 (perfect fit) and Rain in 8UK (very loose heel) should I get loafers on Uetam in 7.5UK or 8UK?

Ugh so tempted by the Adelaide, I just wish it had one more line of broguing around the heel like the AS Moore or G&G St. James II.

I actually think it would look too busy with a heel cap. Because the Adelaide curves back longer than on a normal Adelaide, this provides better balance. On the St. James it makes more sense.
