Vass has a nonfunctional retailer system at the moment in my opinion, unless they fix it we won't consider stocking them. I like StC and I'm definitely not closing any doors here. Had a nice chat with Philip in Florence the other week. You never know.
Hehe! I know what you mean!Really hoping it isn't Vass. If it is, I might as well ask my employer to send my paycheck to SkoAB every month to save me the time of transacting my funds via PayPal.
How so ?.... Ah! I found it as well,I think it's pretty well confirmed NOT Vass.
Bemer or StC...
Bemer reminds me too much of EB, so StC would be the more unique offering.
Any updates on the preorder for the doak Galway that's been sent back once due to QC issues?
I really want to see some new make ups in pingrain. When will pictures and shoes start rolling in?
I'd love it to be Anthony Cleverley, actually. I like the brand and my favorite stockists don't carry it anymore.
If that cannot be done, then a good second option would be Stacy Adams
***I am interested! For those of you who mentioned preferring a split-toe on a rounded last like queens or forest, as opposed to the rain last, any interest in a model 803 or 757 GMTO in some form of grain? The below pic is caramel grain 757 on the forest last according to Betty and it looks pretty sharp. Could be a nice all weather shoe with some sort of thin rubber sole (york, tomir, single dainite). Think one other person is interested at the moment.
I would love that caramel grain in a 5 eyelet chukka, dainite sole, though really for next fall. The split toe is nice too...
