1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Same here. It's one of the best split toes around. I like it even better than the Dover, but it's out of my price range.

I don't know why the Isham is still so readily available, but what I can say is that the Rustic Grain Thorpe from the Odd Stock section no longer is!

50%? Must have missed that one.

Still better than Artioli or Silvano Lattantzi though!

Where were you getting G&G at that pricing two years ago?

I don't think anyone did, at least not outside of a sale. Usually they do a 5% increase per year like many English makers. I heard from a colleague that C&J just increased their prices by about 5% and I would think EG also did so recently, or will do so in June. The Southern Europeans are much more cautious, and will probably be able to keep labour costs down with the recent economical turmoil south of the Alps.

If we could get three we can use the infill system to restock, but the make up needs to be three pairs exactly like that make up. Same width too.

    Sorry - 30-35% increase.

I'm showing shoe prices were mid 800s to 900s from 2013-late 2014. (checked some old GMTOs to confirm)
    Current prices are at ~1150.

Part of why they were so cheap for a bit was the weak SEK. We all benefitted greatly from that if i recall correctly.

I think it was more of the price adjustment Skoak had to do because of other US retailers complaining.

Not that it matters (because it is what it is), I don't think you're all that correct. After a minute or two of searching this forum, there was a 25% price increase around March of last year because the pound to SEK was crazy. That gets you from around 850 to around 1050.

There was also the episode with the minimum retail pricing, but that was separate, and related to Carmina, St. Crispin, and Edward Green. (You should know, you commented,

What, do shoes get cheaper when the stock market goes down?

LOL not sure why people are on me about this. You might not like the price increases, but it is a fact.

Also these are luxury goods...the non SFers who buy G&G don't really care about the price!
