Scraped leather toe-replace?

Hello! This Saturday, I drove down to AC and had more wine than I should have.
As a result, I somehow scraped the leather toe on my new right J Fitzpatrick shoe on my way out of a bar.
I was able to cover the scrape with polish, but you can feel it and see it in the light.

I'm kinda OCD and am willing to replace the shoes.
Is this scrape worth chucking the shoes over?

Add more polish and/or you have a new pair of beaters.

It can be covered, but it's not fixable.send them back to the maker and ask him to use a repair crayon on it.

Not sure I understand why you would replace those shoes. It's just a small nick and they are shoes. Shoes look better with age and natural wear and tear.

Saphir renovatrice can fill in the scratch and then you just put some cream polish and wax polish over it. If you really want to, bring it to your cobbler and he can do it, probably for 30 or 40 dollars.

You should have seen the uncovered damage. Leather color was chipped away. Very depressing sight on a new pair of shoes! I'm usually pretty careful about where I walk, too...

I've done the same. Pretty frustrating when it happens. That said, they look fine to me; a little added character. Wear them with pride and pay it no mind.
