^^ thanks guys, I love them, and was glad to expand my cordovan fetish beyond Alden and C&J for Polo.

This is my 2nd pair of SC. The first, a 205 full brogue in very dark brown 'Cru' leather, I got after sending a foot trace to Phillip in Vienna at the store. Just ordered the same size in this model by email. I decided on the GE 10 sole, slightly thicker than standard GE 8, which I have on the other model, as he recommended it might suit the saddle model better.

From what I understand, SC offers 'Pret' or ready to wear models as well as bespoke. There may be some retailers in Europe who stock some models, but I'm not sure. When ordering from the Pret line, in my experience, it is really just like an MTO program. The Pret shoes are in set styles and lasts, and you get to choose the leather type and 'fitting' or width, and sole. I am sure you could deviate/specify the details a little on the set models, like people do when the order EG's from Tom at LS. I inquired about Cordovan, and it was a special order hide with an upcharge, which I was happy to pay, and I ordered little details like the metal tips. And I feel you should really order trees to go with these shoes, at least I am glad I did. I have no experience with their full bespoke program, but I would think it is top notch.

seems like there is color uneven-ness in the pics, is that true in real life as well?
