I just picked up a pair of these yesterday...the raw denim I'm assuming?

I'm rather amazed with their fit and quality for only $10

I haven't bought a pair for nearly 15 years but I think you'll find that the rustlers wash to a different color blue than most of the jeans talked about around here. They're good jeans from a utilitarian standpoint but generally don't evolve aestetically quite the same way. Worth every penny though.

I bought a pair over the summer on sale for $7. Was interested to see how they would fade, but can't stop wearing my johnbulls. Cut is a little baggy for me, but a good jean to experiment on for sure.

rustler rigids are great! get the new improved version with a coin pocket.

the denim is very heavy and the color is dark. it's a wide straight leg, so the cut is not as sleek as the more expensive stuff.

as far as distressing, i've seen rustlers with great distressing.

buy them, you can't go wrong.

I am new to raw denim. I bought my rustlers on a whim. I would have prefered a pair of wranglers, but didn't feel like experimenting with 20 bucks when i could get these with a 10 dollar bill. my one concern is that with time they will stretch making them even more like the gross jnco's i wore in middle school.
