Thanks, Michael.

Does anyone know of a source for similar shirtings here in the US?

I haven't paid much attention to how Riva's cotton handles the heat and humidity compared to heavier fabric, but it certainly feels amazing on the skin.

For hot and humid weather I've found the weave more important than the weight. The loose open weaves which allows for movement of air to be best. I've a blue opened weave Riva made by CEGO that I like. To tell you the truth it can get a little chill in A/C during the summer and often I have to keep my jacket on.

Have a few white Riva 60% linen 40% cotton dress shirts. Yet to wear them because when I do, I want to have my cleaning choice lined up...

I see Mafoofan's shower curtain....in lieu of that, if I were to have them done outside, should I go to one of the NYC mid/upper tier hand laundries?

Riva is 60-40, is not 70-30!
Is better you make own lavanderia in home!
