Recommendations for suede brogue bal with dainite sole?

I'm in the market for a casual fall shoe, and specifically for a chocolate or tobacco suede brogue balmoral with a dainite (or other durable rubber) sole. Right now I'm looking at the AE Quinton (see here: http://tinyurl.com/3rd5s5 ) but my concern is that the 8 last is too pointy. I prefer a rounded toe on such a casual shoe. Are there analagous C&J or Aldens I should check out? Trickers seems to lean on the blucher style in their suede offerings, otherwise their rounded, decidedly non-sleek English style works well for this type of shoe.

As for C&J there is no suede balmoral (oxford) with a dainite or other rubber sole in either the stock or mail order catalogue at the moment.

I don't know about Alden, but you might want to check out the Church Fairfield:

The soles are crepe, with which I have no experience, so I'm not sure if it falls within the 'durable' category .

Not a balmoral, of course, but if you're looking for a casual suede wingtip, and if you can still get them in your size, these Polo Kenley wingtips are a reasonably good deal at the price Grapevinehill has them going for now on Ebay- about $100. They're whatever the made-in-Italy take on Dainite is, which I don't believe is exactly the same stuff as the English shoes. They had tons of these earlier in the year. They still have the calf version for direct purchase on their website for about $99, but the suede ones are only available as auctions on Ebay. A few sizes left.

Try this:

Another seller has a few mores sizes, but for $225:

I like the Alden suede longwings with the commando sole. They are bluchers, but very nice shoes that can be worn for dress or casual.

You could also get a EG Inverness (oxford) or Sandringham (derby)

Have the Sandringham on dainite on the 202 last. Think that is a last that would suit your requirements well.

I'll second the Polo Kenley's if you get them for a good price - I paid about $65 from GVH. I find myself wearing these shoes quite regularly.

Seconded, this has quickly become one of my favorite pairs of shoes.
