Trying to get a straight fit pair of jeans. Not slim, not relaxed, but some where in between. Options are Iron Heart 634S, Flat Head F380, PBJ xx-005 and Samurai S5000VX.

I have Average Joe's in a size 33 that have stretched out to around a 35 and I have a tiny bit of room to spare. so I guess my true waist is about a 34.5-35.

I'm really leaning toward the PBJ or Samurai. How much do these typically shrink in the waist and everywhere else after the first hot soak? Blue in Green says they shrink .5 in the thigh, knee, leg opening. Do they mean that if the knee is 9, will it be an 8.5 (1 inch total) or 8.75 (.5 total). I've had flatheads that shrunk after the first hot soak from 8.5 to 8.25 (.5 total). May not seem like it, but it makes a big difference. Do these two stretch back out much after shrinking?

BIG says the PBJ 33 measures 35.5 in the waist. Would that be the way to go for me to compensate for shrinking/stretching?

If you are interested in the PBJ XX-005 in a one wash - - we stock it. You could try it on and if doesn't work, we could figure something out.
