Inspired by Whodini's pictures, here are my bootcut RRLs. I've had them since February 2006 and have hand washed them four or five times. Though I haven't worn them even close to everyday (and they're not Superfuture-fit slim on me), I've gone hiking, camping, skateboarding, et cetera, in them, and, as you can see, the fading has been pretty minimal. That said, I really like how they look at the moment. All pictures were taken with flash (they look nicer-- more greycast-- in sunlight); the color is probably the most accurate in the second and third pictures. Looks great tundra. You've got tons more roping than me. I'm going to try to take pics in the sun to try to capture the color a bit better. BTW, what knife are you carrying?

Thanks. I love the greenish tint that the denim develops. Your pictures capture it a lot better than mine. The knife is a Spyderco Native CPM-440V. Nothing particularly special, but it was a gift from my dad and gets a lot of use, so I like it.

Amen. I've never seen any other kind of denim fade to this color. Oddly enough, my dad got me on Spyderco as a kid and used mine for many years. Lately I've been suckered into assisted-opening knives, switching between a SOG Flash Tanto and a Gerber Vallotton. I always think it's funny when I find someone else who carries a knife like wearing a watch. Not too many people these days do.

Yeah those are pretty ridiculous. Look like APC, but pic quality isn't all that great?

    EDIT: I stand corrected.
