Man loses $12,000 engagement ring in helium balloon that floats away.

The worst part is:

"But I had to tell her the story -- she went absolutely mad. Now she is refusing to speak to me until I get her a new ring."

*****.

$12,000 may have been a worthwhile price to pay to learn this about her before the marriage.

Wow that really sucks. When you do something like this you must think it through.

Fidel... agreed.

A very romantic thought but careless.

He may have lost a whopping 12K but if he's got any sense after hearing her reaction, he'd dump her in a heartbeat, saving himself a lot more than 12K in the long-run. What a cold-hearted ******* gold-digger.

However, he sounds hopelessly in love and blinded by her charms. She's clearly a ***** so her only charms must come in the form of ******** and a tight arse!

Recipe for disaster this one. Doomed right from the start.

RUN AWAY! RUN AWAY!

I tend to fall for these types but I'd never marry one. The best way to do is the JFK way.

That makes it like 100x worse. If he was loaded and lived somewhere swanky, he'd get over it much easier than if he was just a regular guy who had to save up for a long time.

Wouldn't that suck; to watch 12K slowly fly away.
