+1, my exact thoughts. Large sleeve openings, baggy thigh/butt area. I mean overall it's ok, again, keep in mind we're a damn picky crowd. The fact taht it more or less fits you and is a 1B will get attention...

Partly agree here too. I think it could partly be the point down collar and FIH tie, but looks very sloped along the shoulders. maybe you need a bit more padding there, or it could be sitting a bit high, which might depend on how high the button stance is.

If you work with Patrick on this suit, you'll get a good result. Patrick can quickly size up the issues and correct them, at least most of them.

It can be a somewhat iterative process with Chan. I was able to do a basted fitting with them at no extra charge. Patrick has continued to evolve my pattern; I think it's pretty good right now, but it's taken some time and patience.

I think it turned out ok, the collar gapes a little and the trousers should be fixed but considering your unusual proportions and your very sloped shoulders, I wouldn't be ashamed of wearing it by any means. Fix the collar when you get a chance!

Stylistically, the length and one button closure is up to you. Mafoo rocks the one button quite nicely though his jacket is a little longer.

thanks very much for all the comments. fyi, this suit (like my last one) was done with a basted fitting from patrick on the order tour.

i agree that there are issues with the fit here, and am a little concerned that fit seems to be moving in the wrong direction. that said, i will see what tailoring patrick can do at my upcoming appointment. i'm still not ready to pay double the cost for suits from a local bespoke tailor (e.g., field's in dc) and haven't had much success with OTR with my proportions.
