1. Alden Ravello Shell Cordovan Chukka Boots. size 9 B/D. These are on the Barrie last, so will fit a normal 9.5D foot. I have had these for about a year. I picked up a pair of Marlows, so these don't get much use anymore. They are built like a tank. $400 plus shipping. SOLD

2. Brooks Brothers Peal Captoe Brown Dress Shoes, made in England by Crockett and Jones. Size US 9.5D. These are another great pair of shoes, just find myself wearing more bluchers these days. I purchased these at the Madison Ave store over the holidays. I had a thin rubber sole put on to protect them, so they have barely wore at all. $200 plus shipping.

3. Timberland Boot Company Wodehouse Tan Chukkas. Size 9M. They fit my 9.5 foot great. I don't believe these are sold in tan anymore. The character on these is great. Being TBC, they add a lot of burnishing, etc at the factory. Perfect chukkas with jeans. $100 plus shipping.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
