I need your guys advice. Would this pea coat look good on a person who is 6'1" with a skinny build. Is this coat too formal, could i wear it casually to classes at my university? I am also a big athlete would this coat seem too ... gayish(?)

Nice coat but I'm not a fan of the belt. Given your concerns about it, why not stick to something more classic.

Blue belted trench =/= trench coat.

I have that Pea coat from J Crew. It's incredibly warm and stylish. It's cut slim, and has nice waist suppression. I'm 6'3,220, played sports for my college (What kind of sport lets 6'1 skinny people play? Your school's chess team), and this coat is very un "Gayish".

i gotta check out that J Crew one. I just picked up a black one from Chaps, but I think I'd rather have a dark blue one.

Bosh was what 6'10 and 220lb when he entered the NBA. I'm guessing he isn't the only college basketball player that is skinny.
