I am looking for a well made oxblood double monk strap under $500. Some style elements I would prefer are cap toe, no perforations, and a slightly elongated toe. In general, I am strongly opposed to a chocolate brown shoe.

I like the Paul Evans Burton, but it will not be available until July. The Carmina is also very nice, but a bit out of my price range once you factor in upcharge for MTO and assuming at least one return to check sizing. I need it within the next month or so in a UK7-7.5, or I will just have to go with a brown shoe and I really prefer the reddish tint. The Cobbler Union Francis in the lighter brown is my backup plan. It is a beautiful shoe and I like supporting local Atlanta businesses, but I cannot stomach the $250 up-charge for MTO to get it in oxblood. I'll probably buy that shoe eventually, but right now I want something a little more formal to pair with a charcoal suit. Any recommendations?
