Oversized top hats

couldn't think of a less lamer subject title but i'm looking more for hats in this style

since finn isn't available for personal contact i thought i'd ask here. not so much an id thread (though i would be interested) but just big ass hats in general. edit: i'm guessing this is better suited for streetwear. i'll move it and please feel free to close this one.

First, that's a fedora. A top hat is one of those tall, stiff shiny things that looks a lot like a tube. Think Lincoln. A fedora is a soft felt hat that has a crown high enough for it to be creased back down. Third, that hat isn't really oversized, it fits his head pretty well. It just has a big ass brim.

As for where to get one, try to find an akubra. hatsdirect.com is one place that sells them online. Akubra's quality is great, they're about the best you can get without going into really high priced beaver blends these days. (though any fur felt will be far superior to a wool felt hat from the mall) They're an austrailan institution, and maintain their quality and selection becuase aussie ranchers simply never stopped using them as honest to god practical work hats.

You could also look at some of the offerings by Stetson, that could easily be a recreased cowboy hat.
