Opinion of Cole Haan Otis Chelsea boot

Personally, I don't care for it at all. I think the broguing, wingtip and medallion look completely out of place on a chelsea, I don't care for the roundedness of the toe, and I find that finish quite unattractive (to say the least).

That curved-up toe thing seems to be cropping up more and more. But unless you're a latent elf, I think it's a terrible look.

To answer your question - the boot is nicht gut. From what I understand Cole Haan can no longer afford those - gulp - exorbitant Brazilian labor costs, and has shifted boot ( among other things ) manufacturing to India

A bunch of the boots at the last Barney's Warehouse sale had curly toes. It's "in" I guess.

Ah yes, the "spending $300 to look like you only spent $20 look" I know it well.

A lot of college girls in my experience try the female equivalent, the tossled "spend an hour in the morning too look like you just rolled out of bed in sweat pants" look.
