I actually like Esquire as a (non-fashion) magazine, they have a few really great writers, but Clad's brand selection is ******* depressing.

If its any consolation they're going out of business, and
considering its a joint effort by Esquire and JC Penny its not as bad as I thought it'd be.

The code FEBFAMILY gives another 25% of at Clad. I don't find the selection depressing at all. But it is isn't particularly streetwear oriented . More work-friendly or dress.

Thanks, picked up a billy reid shirt.

Generally yeah I would describe it as falling into the "business casual" doldrums.

Blazers, striped shirts and straight-leg jeans for days.

If you are in the market for underwear Clad works out to be very cheap for 2xist pima or CK.

Is there any actual good stuff at Urban Outfitters besides the Filson totes?

...for someone who isn't interested in ironic mustaches or owl-shaped decor

I think UO has some younger design and when on sale it's very cheap.
UO sometimes carry small brands from european. These brands maybe well known in europe and no one knows in America.

It's a fun store to shop, just look around. But I don't think you will be interested in their products.
