  • Epaulet x Styleforum Alpine Loden Collection

Loden wool, woven in Tirol for centuries, is known for its resistance to cold and wetness. Our project in collaboration with Epaulet introduces Alpine Loden, a modern 18oz fabric blend of 75% merino wool and 25% nylon, woven in Italy. It's lighter, more durable, wind-resistant, and more comfortable than traditional Loden fabric. Partnering with Rochester Tailored Clothing, we offer custom garments like sportcoats, suits, and overcoats, made to your specifications. Learn more about the Loden collection here.

I will be going on vacation to NYC over Christmas and I was wondering what favorites you have as far as shopping in the city. Still deciding on how much I want to put out for clothes while Im there, but I'm from Florida so I dont have any form of comparable shopping here.

I'd like to hit Saks, I've heard Century 21 has good deals, and maybe Barneys, NM, or Bergdorf. I have never been to NYC before though, so do you have some good tips or places other than the major stores I mentioned?

On a side note, any personal picks for hotels or food while there?

I appreciate it.

On the food question, you need to be more specific in terms of taste and budget. NYC is a city of unlimited options. You can select from wonderfully authentic ethnic to top-of-the line gourmet. You can run the budget from under $10.00 per person to easily over $300.00 person per meal. There is virtually no cuisine not represented some where in NYC. We need you to help narrow down.

p.s. Also consider chowhound.com. A very nice site that will enable you to uncover some nice gems.
