Selling a new Ralph Lauren Purple Label Dark Brown Flannel Sport Coat. Size 40R I am selling the jacket at a lower price because of the unique status of the jacket. I believe the jacket is actually an orphaned suit jacket that was part of a three piece suit from the 2012 winter collection. However, because the jacket is a solid color and flannel (light to medium weight), it works perfectly as a sport coat. I also asked the forum for their opinion on this and they agreed (See: http://www.styleforum.net/t/393203/can-this-flannel-rlpl-suit-jacket-be-worn-as-a-sport-coat) I wouldn't normally waste my time with an orphaned jacket, but given that it's from an extremely well made $5,000 suit and can easily pass as a sport coat, I think this would be a great addition to someone's closet. The jacket has dark brown buttons on the sleeve, but never had buttons put onto the front, which also did not come with the jacket, unfortunately. That means that you would have the option of:
  1. Finding matching buttons for the front, or
  2. Choosing your own style of buttons and replacing the buttons on the sleeve. Tan horn would go very nicely
This wouldn't take much effort and would be a good opportunity to customize the jacket a bit. However, I understand that it's an added expense and it is reflected in my asking price. Details
