For sale I have one pair of the Edward Green Nevis boot in beautiful Chestnut Antique Calf. This boot is effectively a hybrid of two quintessential EG models - the Dover and the Galway. It features the same sweeping curves along the side of the boot as can be seen with the Galway pattern, but fundamentally it is a split toe Norveger in the style of the Dover. Note from the pictures how the apron of the Nevis has more of a squared shape than the Dover does. This is by design and, I believe, gives the boot its own character distinct from the Dover. The full 360 degree storm welt also makes for a nice contrast with the 82 last "poncified" Galway. Having said that, this pair of Nevis would not be as waterproof as a 64 last Veldtschoen Galway, but instead represents a nice middle ground between the two. I hope you agree!

This pair are crafted on the elegant, slightly squared, 606 last and feature a HAF leather sole. Since they are designated as Antique Calf there is some archetypal EG burnishing at the toe and heel. Just an awesome boot for Fall/Winter that will last for years if the uppers are treated properly. The apron of the Dover/Nevis is sewn by hand using a pig's bristle, as described here: http://www.permanentstyle.co.uk/2010/02/hand-sewing-at-edward-green.html.

These are new with box, including polishing mat, shoe bags and care guide. They are a first quality pair from the Jermyn Street store. Uppers and soles are absolutely pristine with barely a trace of shop wear - they don't look like they've ever been tried on. These are much rarer than the Galway and are hardly ever found on sale.

Please note that, due to weight exceeding 2kg, these would have to be shipped via a courier, which happens to be much more expensive than Royal Mail.

Price is $1300 -> $1200 shipped CONUS or the EU
