OK this is a new guy question. I have purchased a few pair of Purple Label Pants and they have come with a long canvas strip in a purple label bag in the pockets. I know this goes on the bottom of the pants cuff. How do i instruct my tailor to place this on the cuff properly?

I dont know if this makes sense but if you understand please info me of the proper procedures.

It goes on the inside heel. Whether it's useful or not is up for debate. But if your tailor doesn't know what the strip is for you should go elsewhere. Though, even if he knows what it is, he's likely to throw it in the trash.

Some tailors use it and many don't. If you want them, just let your tailor know.

No. And you can use the search function to find threads where the usefulness of the strips have been discussed.
