I just got a new white pique waistcoat which I plan to wear with a set of vintage studs, but unfortunately, the buttons are not removabe. Is it possible to have a tailor remove them and make it to where I can use the studs?

A tailor should be able to remove the buttons, create buttonholes and sew the buttons onto a strip so you can use them in the future should you wish to.
