Apparently, this was a very old model. The owner says it the previous owners reinforced the leather straps with nylon (aftermarket) so ignore the green.

What I've been wondering is, when did Knoll start stamping the bottom of their daybeds with Knoll all over, like in this picture

I know that the older models didnt have stamps or the knoll logo on them, so that makes it harder to authenticate an old model like this... so my other important question is

...does quality leather ever bleed into the fabric on the bottom?? that seems to be weird.

Here are the pictures

Not sure that the new ones have a tag, if the cushions are original they will have a sewn in tag. Also, the straps should belting leather.

What do you mean by belting leather? Sorry, new to this.

She said this is approx 20-30 years old. No tags. The leather is in good condition though, if I posted pics of the leather, would that help? It doesnt really show much

Nope, belting leather is a thick leather used specifically for straps, it will hold up much better then a standard leather. Not 100% but fairly certain the tag has been a long standing thing. The stamped logo has not.

The leather looks quite thick from the other pictures. What should the main leather on the top of the bed be if it's 20 years old? She said its been "kept in good condition" so there doesnt seem to be that much wear and tear. Is that likely?
