I've got a navy (cashmere) DB suit by Kiton where the royal blue window-pane is so subtle that if you're eye isn't within an inch or two of the fabric, you'd swear it was a solid color... perfectly acceptable.Any thoughts on a navy suit with a light windowpane? Â My initial thought is that it is too informal for most business situations? Â For the record, I would be wearing it in court or in meetings with clients.
I wear a brown with windowpane twice a week. As said, no eye-popping and it is acceptable. Keep the shirt and tie combo very sutle and you will be one of the best dressed in court.I hope so. Â I have one on order. ÂSeriously, I have no fear of wearing it to the office. Â But as windowpane goes, it is sort of subtle. Â The check is light gray and sort of fuzzy. Â Not eye-popping at all.
