Ouch! I've seen several cars on the side of the road lately due to flats from potholes. I've had a few close calls myself. Last year I bent a rim on one.

lol, sounds familiar, I was the lucky recipient of a large screw in my front left tire, 19" Michelin PS2, not fun..
