Matching metals for two tone watch?

I recently picked up a two tone dress watch with a gold/champagne dial. Bezel is gold, rest of the case is steel. Bracelet is two-tone.

Until now, I've been a silver metal guy - all my belt buckles, and tie clips are that color. Would my existing accessories look okay with that type of watch, or should I look at some gold?

I think you could go either way.

Congrats on your purchase. My opinion is this: A timepiece is a small accessory worn asymmetrically and off-center, and as such has a life of its own. Apart from some traditional rules (such as those that say what is and what is not a dress watch etc.) there really isn't much to ponder after you purchase a beautiful watch. I have friends who hold that a leather strap should match your belt and shoes, or that the dial should match your suit etc. Nonsense. They might as well wear the same watch on both wrists to add that desired sync and balance, or pocket their two-tones upon learning that the dinner will be served with sterling silver cutlery.

I agree with the above poster, you don't need to match metal tones between watch, ring and belt
