yeah, read it just a while ago. $3,000 for the suit pictured. the article didn't expound on the construction or even where it was made though. typical of vogue.

Well, Men's Vogue wouldn't describe the construction or the place of manufacture. It reports on whatever is both new and pretentious. Hard to tell whether the cut is interesting -- I seem to recollect the suit being modelled looked like it was the wrong size.

I don't think the people who write for men's magazines have in general any knowledge of the men's clothing industry (beyond, perhaps, a stint selling clothes at Barneys') or of the construction of quality clothing. Thus their writing generally is as clueless about such things as ours would be if we were forced to write an article about the tolerance of industrial bushings.
