does hugo boss own ludwig reiter?

the reason i ask is that i was at a corporate hugo boss outlet the other day and they received a new shipment of shoes and there were a good dozen ludwig reiter shoes in the proper 'ludwig reiter schuhmanufaktur' boxes for sale with the hugo boss ones; the salespeople didn't know specifically why they were there ........

the corporate hugo boss outlet for canada is in windsor (ontario) of all places (i suppose it caters to the huge usa market a stone throw away)

there were a few dress pair i think, i mostly noticed those leather dress running type shoes though and none were in a 45 so i didn't open all the boxes to look - i honestly don't even know what price they were selling for given there were no sizes for me so i didn't pay attention

the best that the hugo boss reps could advise is that some baldessarini shoes are made for them by ludwig reiter, the rest made in england but an unnamed source (they couldn't recall)
