Looking for derby recommendations

I'm in the market for a simple 2 or 3 tie derby shoe in a dark brown/reddish brown shade. My range is around 150-250gbp. So far I'm come up with the Barker Exeter :

How is the quality/price of these particular companies? I noticed that the Cheaneys are "matrix welted" vs trad. Goodyear welting on the Barkers.

I like the look of the Cheaney. I've never owned a pair and can't comment on the quality.

That's a tough call based on these pictures. I find it very difficult to compare the actual shape of the shoes here. I'm leaning towards the Cheaney at the moment but that could change with the perspective...

I've got two pairs of Barker shoes that are now about 15 years old. They've been soled and
heeled a few times, but they are now nicely broken in.
