They both look fine. If you normally wear slim clothes I would stick with the 44, it will only stretch and get more broken in as you wear it. If you tend to wear average fitting clothing, you might want to keep the 36. The 34 also looks a little short, but the 36 looks a little loose in the arms. I'm probably in a similar situation but I ended up sizing up because I wear slim/straight jeans instead of slim/skinny. Hope that helps
I'd get the 44. It's the right fit in the arms and the shoulders, which is what you should concentrate on. The things stretch quite a bit with wear, at least ime. I think that some of the really old ones in heavy cowhide don't stretch as much, but sheepskin and calf (which is what I have) will stretch.
FWIW, my ToJ moto is slimmer through the shoulders and chest than my Margiela 5-zip, but considerably more loose through the torso. So if you find one of those on the market, that might be the way to go.
I kind of prefer the 44, but objectively, the 46 looks more balanced.
edit: Wow missed an entire page. 46 sleeve looks bad, agreed. Never mind.
the 44 definitely looks a lot better
agreed, 44 looks good. my 46 is a little roomy in the arms too, where other jackets are usually too tight.
that's the original moto, you can't purchase that iteration anymore... You do know you can order that Toj (MTM) right? That way it'll fit you properly and it'll be the exact jacket you want. Moto + gold zips. Yes you might wait a while, but at 1/3 of the price of the MMM, it might be worth it to you to get the jacket you want.
Yeah that's when Ln-CC first time got Yang Li. I think snow paid for full retail. Hostem in London, Leclaireur in Paris also carry it.
The jacket at Atelier New York is actually in Dark Green. Surprisingly they carry something in color.

i have that jacket (the 46), the sleeves are slightly loose on me and my arms are pretty big.
to answer your question, the measurements on oki-ni seem accurate. if i were you at this point i'd get a toj
