I don't keep up on the TOJ thread much but has this been "documented" so to speak or is it just reasonable speculation? If so do you know when?

It's a fact that MTM will be going away. It's speculation when.

No, the one in my avatar is the real deal. I do, however, own  a "copy" of the jacket on my avatar. I wish I was baller enough to get a $3000 jacket, but alas I´m not.

Same same. I've seen the one in your avatar on ebay before for sure and it looks pretty well made. But a photo's just a photo. How do you like your copy?

There are knockoffs of that one on ebay, some under $500 and one that looks really well made around $800 or more. But for that money I´d get a toj.
The one I have is ok. Had it made by a guy in buenos aires that does all sorts of styles of leather jackets. It didn´t turn out exactly like in the avatar; I had to put the metal studs here in my city ´cause the guy didn´t, and it has just one forearm zipper on the sleeves (the original has 2 per sleeve). I got it for like $200 adn it serves its purpose. It´s cool to ride around on my bike. Without being perfect like I wanted it to, it still has that badass feel to it, from the outer paddings(?) on the arms and higher back to the metal studs and collar strap. I already had a brown sort of whiskey perfecto jacket, so with this one I was able to have two different models and colors.

Nay, I only like button closures on suede. Possibly on an unlined leather shirt as well, but just seems off on a jacket.

Yeah, the one I've seen is $800+. Think we saw the same seller.

Def not sure if I'm willing to drop that much for a copy but no doubt it would be good quality. There are some in the $300-400 region that seem very well made already using Italian lambskin, mostly from Korean sellers. Who knows, maybe they're made in the same factory as ToJ haha.

For those with an Incarnation, did any of you place a custom order? I'm about to and was wondering on the turnaround time. I heard it's surprisingly short, given the industry standard.

Mine took about 3 months also... The other one I picked up here at SF.
