Brand - authentic Oxxford, America's finest ready-to-wear tailor. This is not standard RTW Oxxford though, it is a one-of-a-kind custom piece, originally tailored in 2005.
Retail - it would likely cost at least $3200.00 to commission this today.
Size - it was made to measure, and measures like a US size 42.
Condition - previously worn but not much - it is still in really excellent condition overall. There is a tiny spot on one of the rear vents (pictured.) This may come out with a dry cleaning.
Cut - single breasted, two button, double vents.
Construction details - Hand cut and hand stitched. Hand padded lapels. Canvas front (no glue or fusing.) Handpicked lapels and pockets. Handsewn buttonholes. Handsewn boutonierre loop. Real shell buttons.
Special detailing - lined under the collar with pink and white seersucker, left sleeve buttonholes done in contrasting thread, special shell buttons, special peach colored bemberg lining.
Fabric content - it is mismarked "Super 150's", but this is a high grade cotton seersucker.

$4000+ HENRY POOLE SAVILE ROW TWEED SPORTCOAT 42 $590.00 OBO
For auction - a genuine Henry Poole bespoke tweed sportcoat. Being bespoke it is not marked with a size. It measures like a trim US size 42 (please compare the listed measurements before bidding.) The label than normally carries the date and owners name has been removed so I can't date it exactly, but I think this jacket is likely of fairly recent make.
Cut - single breasted two button, double vented.
Condition - previously worn but not much. It is still in perfect condition.
Some details - hand stitching is evident in every part of the coat. This jacket uses a canvas front construction. This means that the front of the jacket gets it shape from a canvas interlining that is sewn into the jacket. This is far superior (and much more labor intensive and expensive) to the fused method used in lesser quality jackets. The front of this jacket will never bubble. The canvas front construction allows for a more tailored fit in the chest and a graceful "roll" to the lapel. And the canvas in this suit was cut, shaped, sewn and basted in by hand - that's far more work than what goes into a Kiton or Brioni! If you examine the backside of the buttonholes you will notice that the stitching is slightly irregular. This is because the buttonholes were stitched by hand. The lapel buttonhole is functional and there is a boutonniere loop on the back of the lapel to hold a flower in place should you choose to wear one! Only the bottom two sleeve buttonholes are cut open so the top two buttons can be relocated. The buttons are real horn.
The Fabric - no content label but it is light-to-medium weight wool tweed. The ground is done in tan, dark tan, copper, black and brown, accented by burnt orange windowpane stripes. This is stunning fabric - the pictures do not do it justice!

Condition - it was tailored but never worn. Brand new condition. Whoever sewed on the sleeve buttons did a poor job though, I would recommend having them reattached.
Cut - single breasted, three button, double vented. The shoulder is completely unpadded/natural and the chest canvas is very light. It is beautifully cut, almost Neopolitan. This is best cut of any recent mainline Zegna.
