Beautiful plain-toe bluchers in size 9.5D from J Crew, in a dark cigar brown.

They retail for $278 at the J Crew site, but most sizes are sold out. These shoes are bench-made, and feature Goodyear welting. Very substantial, and will last a lifetime with resoling.

I bought them new, and wore them less than 10 times before realizing I really need a half size larger. The soles are in great shape, and the uppers have no real scratches or dings.

Description from the J Crew site:
The Ludlow shoe is our version of a bench-made dress shoe, and it's constructed using many of the same methods as the world's best shoemakers. We selected some of the finest leathers from tanneries in Italy and finished them with a Goodyear welt, which means you can resole them again and again—so they'll last a lifetime. To ensure they retain their shape, the insole contains a steel shank, which sounds uncomfortable, but it's encased in a soft layer of cork with a Poron footpad on top, which is designer talk for really comfortable.

Thanks for looking.
