Is this leather jacket a good fit or should I size up or down?

It could work, but you could also size down one.
Do you think it'd look better down a size or as it is? When I measure my shoulders they're 17, am xs fits a shoulders for 17, a small fits 17.5 but my shoulder feels pretty smug still in a 17.5. With that being said I j go to the gym within a year, workout and my shoulders grow will thay screw with the size of an xs?

The shoulders look fine, but both the length of the sleeves and that of the body are for a slightly taller guy.

Gotcha I get that, it definitely crumples up mid arm. I fee however an xs, would definitely help that, but then as I said before the shoulder may be too tight then. So I guess I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. Another thing. Is it proper for the lapels to hang over each other like the photo above, or should they be more open so people can see the shirty your wearing under it?
