Good morning, I'm looking to insure my bespoke clothing.. suits, shoes, hats, etc... can anyone recommend a reputable company in the U.K that deals with such things... It's a bit of a minefield out there, and I would appreciate your help.. Cheers.

Any contents insurance will cover clothing, but you probably won’t have sufficient sub-limits to cover the full replacement value of a wardrobe full of bespoke suits.

A high net worth policy, e.g. from the likes of Hiscox, will have higher limits. However you will probably need to declare the existence of each high value item above the individual ‘per item’ limit and you will pay extra for this.

If you have a lot of bespoke clothing your best bet would be to speak to an insurance broker who will be able to arrange a policy that will cover precisely what you need. Your chance of getting the right cover from the online insurance aggregators is quite low.
