I don't know why, but the Lacoste emblem is a turn off for me. I've been wearing these boots since my office goes to business casual during the summer.

yeah, just about no one here will like those shoes...and quite frankly I'd never buy lacoste shoes.

maybe there is a pair of ferragamos that will do it for you.

The closest I'd come to wearing shoes like those Lacoste would be something like these NDC:

or these:

and the more I stare at those Hettas (the first pair), the less I like them, but the Ricos are just :slayer:

ETA: no comment on the boots

Seriously, I do not find the OP's shoes so terribly awful. They certainly do not look like quality shoes, and I would not wear them with a suit, but as casual gear, they are not too bad.
I think that Bally may have things like that. Overpriced, of course, not very nice leather and probably bad construction, but if you like it, with the 50% off that is often given during sales, it will not be too bad. And Bally sometimes have things without visible logos.

Jesus, guys. He's just asking what kind of general style are those shoes.

In a similar price range I would check out Crockett and Jones's Derby shoes, some of Alden's various Bluchers, or some of Romano Martegani's Lucca2 model. Shoe Mart, Pediwear, Franco's have a number of models available online, in addition to the manufacturer websites.

Dutch Tiger - may we ask what part of the world you live in?

Context makes a lot of difference to me in terms of suggestions.

Where are you located and what is your budget for the shoes?

what in the hell is with the skyward toe on those things?

From owning a couple of pairs, the sole arcs up like that because the leather on the uppers are so soft and supple. Once they are worn, they flatten out as normal.

Ugh. I wish this new software would automatically append concurrent postings into a single one. Sorry for the double post.

I was asking just a general style...big thanks to Veneto. Live in Atlanta. I really want something plain...classic if you will. Don't really like wingtips. I just need brands that make quality shoes for under $200.
